Our club
Sustainable Finance Toastmasters is a public speaking club affiliated to Toastmasters International, a non-profit educational organisation that aims to help members develop communication and leadership skills through practice and feedback since 1924.
There are more than 16.400 clubs worldwide.
At Sustainable Finance Toastmasters, we are passionate about sustainability, and each meeting we choose one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as our main topic.
We share knowledge and learn from each other while practising public speaking.
We are an online club, and we meet on every 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month at 6.30 pm GMT.

How do I learn and grow?
Besides the club's supportive learning environment, there is a structured online education program called Pathways.
Pathways focuses on five core competencies:
Public Speaking.
Interpersonal Communication
Strategic Leadership.
Management.
Confidence.
With 11 paths to choose from, you have the option to pick on which skills you want to focus.
How does Pathways work?
Once you have become a club member, you will take the Pathways online assessment, which will suggest a learning path based on your goals.
Progress through your path by completing projects, giving presentations at club meetings, and implementing feedback, all done at your own pace.
Each path has five levels, and you'll start by mastering fundamentals before working your way up to demonstrating your expertise.
What can I expect in a meeting?
Our meetings are structured, professional and fun; there is always room for surprise and improvisation.
There are prepared speeches, impromptu speaking and feedback.
Members fill different roles, so everybody gets a chance of participating.
